Marcello is often a journalist in Rome throughout the late nineteen fifties who covers tabloid news of movie stars, spiritual visions and the self-indulgent aristocracy whilst trying to find a more significant strategy for life. Marcello faces the existential wrestle of getting to make a choice from two life, depicted by journalism and literature.
